Christmas is truly my favorite time of year. It’s a time to celebrate the coming of Christ. It’s time to be with my family. Give and receive presents. I even get a few days off, which is rare for us painting contractors.
This season is also the perfect time to do a home interior painting. Of course, I would say that but it’s true. We give many gifts at Christmas, most of which we don’t even recall a year later. But, repainting the exterior of your home is a gift that will keep on giving.

It is a renovation you can enjoy every day. No matter how long you have lived in your home, you have probably thought about ways you could make your home better. When I saw what they had, I could understand it! But, once my interior paint crew got to work, they were no longer embarrassed to have people over. It improved their social life.
Safety. Many paints are filled with lead and other toxic chemicals. Some older homes that I have repainted had paint peeling which means they were exposed to the glue and other chemicals used to apply the paint. These chemicals are not safe. Many painters, including myself, now use non-toxic, climate-safe paints which are not a danger to you, your family, or your pets’ health.
Winter is the season to paint your home! Winter is the absolute best time for a customer. You can set the date and time that works for you. You don’t have to wait weeks or months to get into the painting contractor’s schedule. You also won’t be tied down during the spring and summer, when you have vacations and other home projects to do.
Home interior painting makes a wonderful Christmas gift that you can admire, share and invest in. It will last you for many years to come and may even help you sell your home.
